Beaks and Feet

As part of our " Bird " study we have been looking at  their habitats and food. We have found out that you can tell from a bird's feet what sort of habitat it will live in and the shape of their beaks lets you know what they like to eat. We tried using different kitchen utensils to try and pick up seeds and gummy worms and other bird food imitating the way that birds use their beaks. It wasn't easy!!

Another Dress Rehearsal

We are all ready for our performance at the Edgar Centre on Thursday for Polyfest. We tried on our Kapa Haka uniforms and had our final practice.

Dress Rehearsal

On Monday we got dressed in our costumes for our Stars on Stage performance. The juniors and also some parents were our audience and we ran through the whole show twice. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. We are looking forward to Wednesday and performing at the Regent Theatre.
