Warrington Beach

What a great day we had at the beach. To start with we travelled there in a double-decker bus!!It was fun. Once we got to the beach we got into groups and went to the rock pools. We saw lots of interesting creatures. There were barnacles and chitons as well as crabs and sea stars. There was a seal lying on the rocks that looked at us but wasn't really interested. When we'd had morning tea back at the playground we all walked to the estuary. It smelt a bit and was a bit slushy but we saw lots of shells and some crabs. We had lunch under the trees because it was so hot. We then got changed and went to the sandy beach. The adults got into the water  to mark the area where we could swim. It was fantastic running in and out of the water and diving and jumping. We were called out of the water after a while because there were some jelly fish swimming with us!We got changed and climbed back on the bus. We had  had a lovely time but we were feeling tired and ready for home.
