Friction

We learned about 'Friction" and how its part of everyday life. We discussed ways to increase or lower friction and then designed a car track that would test our ideas. Our instructions were ...to design a track that enabled the car to travel down it quickly and then continue travelling for at least a metre. It was fun. We had some things we could use like plastic bags, gladwrap, premade ramps , blocks, smooth plastic mats, towels and material. Mrs Evans-Weir timed our cars and the results ranged from 1:34 all the way to 2:77!!!
