Question: If we dropped 3 different balls from the same height at the same time,would they all land at different times or would they land at the same time?
We Thought: Everyone wrote their thoughts on a post it note and stuck it on the board.
The result was the whole class, except for 2 children, thought the balls would all land at different times.
We tested to find out the result. We knew that we would have to do the same test lots of times to get a true result.
In the end we decided that the balls landed at the same time due to gravity.
We were a bit surprised withis result as many of us thought the heaviest ball would land first so checked out a few youtube science videos just to make sure . Some people thought feathers and paper wouldn't land as quickly as a ball but we decided that objects of a similiar shape would land at the same time.
