On Friday I started to pack my bag because that was the day I was going to Gore where my aunts and uncles were. My brother was going to have his bithday there. We finally hopped in the car. It took us about 2 hours to get there. We stopped now and then to take breaks. When we got there they all greeted us in joy. We stayed up really late that night. It was midnight. When midnight came they all started chanting because my brother was now 13! A teenager, more trouble. After a little while we went to bed. We were spending the night at my aunts house.

We then travelled on to visit the Catlins area. It was a great weekend.
