Our topic in maths at the moment is looking at money. Money is paid for all sorts of activities and behaviour and the children's accounts are then in credit. The debits happen if work isn't finished or there is too much chatting! All children have a bank account and deposit slips so they can deposit all the money they will be making. We also have a small shop operating and the children can take turns at buuying products and also adding up totals and giving change. Sadly all this money isn't real!!!
