Cross Country Day

What a gorgeous day it was on the last Tuesday of the term!!

We were surprised because it had been rainy the day before and we thought the race might have to be  transferred to Thursday. We left school at 11.30 and walked up to Chingford Park. We put down our new tarpaulin , that the PTA bought each room, and got ready to watch the juniors . They ran really well. Their track was around the park where we were sitting. After our warm up it was the girls in Year 4 who set off first . when they finished it was the boys turn. We could eat the rest of our lunch then and relax a bit as we watched the big kids run. Then we packed up and headed back to school. It was a really nice day and we enjoyed it.
